The fastest way to diagnose a failed AOTR code
Most failed code attempts come from one of four causes: the code expired, the code was typed with a case or spacing mistake, the account does not meet a requirement, or public sources disagree about whether the code is still live.
GameValueTools separates AOTR codes into Working, Verify, and Expired so you do not waste time retrying old milestone codes. Working codes have the strongest current-source support. Verify codes may still be worth trying, but they should not be treated as guaranteed.
Why WEBSITE and TERRA70K are not marked the same as UPDATE5SOON
UPDATE5SOON appears in several current public lists, so it is promoted to Working in this pass. WZINS also remains Working because stricter sources still list it.
WEBSITE and TERRA70K are messier. Some current pages still show them, but other fresh lists do not. That is why they sit in Verify instead of being hidden or called fully expired.
What to do after a code works
Redeem all Working AOTR codes before spending spins or keys. Code rewards are most useful when you already know whether you are chasing a family, perk, or raid-prep upgrade.
After redeeming, move to the family and perk tier lists before rerolling. That keeps the code page useful as a start point instead of a dead end.
Recommended order
- 1. Copy the code from the live AOTR codes table instead of retyping it from memory.
- 2. Try Working codes first, then Verify codes only if you want to test source-conflict claims.
- 3. Check for extra spaces before or after the pasted code.
- 4. If a code fails twice, stop retrying and check the Expired table.
- 5. Use the family and perk tier lists before spending any spins from the code.
